On Wednesday 3rd December, BLCF hosted our pre-competition workshop in partnership with the University of Bedfordshire: Heritage Horizons and Two Side Studios. This workshop gave students the opportunity to learn more about BLCF and mascot design. As part of this, we had two incredibly interesting presentations from Jaspal Nangla from Two Side Studios on creating a mascot design from a working brief and how to make it suitable for animation.

If you missed our pre-competition workshop, do not worry! The competition is now open and we encourage you to enter!

If you are are young creative, we would love to see your designs for a BLCF mascot. We want to feature your work as part of our 25th anniversary branding, giving you the opportunity to add to your portfolio and work with industry professionals. If your design is selected to represent BLCF, you will win a £100 gift voucher and the chance to attend our anniversary dinner in May to network and speak about your design.
