Luton Youth Fund

LUTON RISING recognises that charitable and community organisations play a major role in contributing to the delivery of priority outcomes for young people in Luton.  Its Luton Youth Fund aims to provide funding for organisations that can deliver against the main objectives & priorities of this fund.

Key Priorities:

The Luton Youth Fund is focused on the following strategic priority areas:

  1. Exploitation of children and young people such as gang-associated behaviour and other criminality.
  2. Serious violence or sexual exploitation, which encompasses a multi-agency approach.

It seeks to support programmes which are:

  • Specialists targeted early interventions or preventative work – aimed at creating opportunities, providing support, empowerment and helping young people to make positive life choices.
  • Interventions or programmes to divert children from risky behaviours and criminality.
  • Targeted at supporting young people between 11-18 years across Luton.
