The Living Well Fund

In collaboration with Cadent, Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation is facilitating the Living Well Fund, aimed at promoting gas safety awareness through community events, activities, and advice for residents of Bedfordshire.

This fund is part of Cadent’s Centre for Warmth programme, which supports vulnerable individuals by keeping them warm, safe, and connected. The project focuses on identifying and partnering with local charities in areas experiencing high levels of deprivation, fuel poverty, and carbon monoxide risks, particularly in locations near ongoing mains replacement work.

Grants are available to organisations that operate accessible venues / community spaces which foster community engagement and support vulnerable groups, including those facing debt, mental health challenges, low income, and marginalised communities.

Grants are available up to £30,000 (per project) for up to 6 different Centres for Warmth – 2 in each Local Authority area (Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire & Luton).
