Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation (BLCF) is an independent, non-profit organisation established in 2001, our aim is to improve the quality of life for local residents through encouraging local giving.
2022 has been a year of significant transition with BLCF now being the 7th largest grant making Community Foundation in the UK, hence we are looking to grow our Board with proactive Trustees, preferably affiliated to Bedfordshire.
 
We are looking for three experts:
Finance and Investment
Commercial Property development
Press and Media Relations
 
We provide training in all aspects of our work, as well as mentoring throughout the first twelve months.

We meet quarterly at our offices in Wrest Park and will invite you to join one of our three Executive Committees. Trustees are the final decision-makers, with oversight of all the charity’s decisions, the Board’s main job is to set direction and support the Chief Executive… we take our work seriously but we are good fun!
